Uh . . . this girl is good.  Ya'll know I am a huge fan of David Nail's voice and it takes a voice like David's to really do justice to songs like 'Turning Home," "Red Light," and his latest, 'The Sound of a Million Dreams."  I was looking around YouTube for this week's "Country-Fried" Cover and stumbled across Hayley Stayner doing a cover of David's hit song "Let It Rain."  And she does just that!  Hayley has a GREAT voice and lets it rain all over this song.  LISTEN!

I know, right??  Hayley has some mad chops.  In fact, those mad chops got her onto the first season of The X-Factor, where she made the Top 60 at boot camp.  Hayley was cut just before the "Judges' Homes" episodes.  But Top 60 isn't bad . . . at all.

For me, Hayley looks a little like Katherine McPhee, American Idol Season 5 runner-up.  And I love her voice, especially the way she floats in and out of head voice much the way McPhee did when she battled her way to the Idol finale.

Hayley has a channel on YouTube and performs covers of everyone from Adele to Jake Owen to The Civil Wars.  She has a CD called Are You Listening Tennessee and it is available for purchase on ITunes.

What do you think of Hayley and this week's "Country-Fried" YouTube Cover of the Week?
