Lost Dog in Landsdowne Neighborhood in Owensboro [PHOTOS]
Sweet Gemma is lost and needs our help. Gemma was a rescue at the shelter and finally found the love that she deserves. We need to get her home.
Gemma (on the right) is a sweet 5-6 year-old pittie. She's already had a rough life and needs to be home with her loving family. She was a rescue pup and was being fostered with the Daviess County Animal Shelter. The perfect family fell in love with her and she became a "foster failure". She's got so much love now.
I talked to her Mom, Shauna and she's been out looking all day. She's desperate to find her. Gemma has never been loose in the neighborhood and may not be able to find her way home by herself. Please keep an eye out for this beautiful girl.
Mom said that she's probably scared and might not come up to someone right away or she may run. She does not have her collar on and can be reactive to other dogs at first so please approach her carefully if you have a dog with you.
You can call 270-993-8704, 270-314-9630, or the Daviess Co Animal Shelter if you see her. Shauna has a sister who works at the Shelter and will help.
