Love Little Debbie Christmas Tree Cakes? One Kentucky Mom is Churning Out Cheesecake Versions

Wanna talk about a delicious tradition?  Little Debbie Christmas Tree Cakes are probably one of the yummiest guilty pleasures.  We found a mom who makes cheesecake versions of them right here in Kentucky.

Meet the talented, the wonderful, the amazing, Hanna Bailey.

Hanna is the owner of Doozie Doez here in Owensboro, Kentucky.  You can find her on any given day baking up a mess of something and we are so grateful she does.

When I asked her how she got started here's what she told me;

I started baking blueberry cobblers years ago to sell at the Owensboro Regional Farmers' markets with our blueberries. It became a staple and a sell-out every weekend. In 2019 when they passed the home baker law, we started making other things to take along with cobblers. In 2021, we found a commercial kitchen to rent so we could do other things such as chicken salad & my favorite…cheesecake. We bought a trailer to sell treats out of and blueberries in town at the farmers' market. We call it the bakery bus. We have done birthday parties, lots of business events, business lunches & breakfasts & weddings.

I asked Hanna "what's your favorite thing you make?"-Picking my favorite thing I’ve ever made is hard because I love it all but I would say ranked really high is my banana fosters cheesecake. It is the best ever.

If you can dream it up Hanna can probably make it (she'll probably ring my neck for saying that LOL).  Here are just some of the things she makes:  Cakes, cookies, cobblers, stuffed cones, cheesecake, edible cookie dough, and cake pops.

BRING ON THE CHRISTMAS TREE CHEESECAKES

As if Hanna needed to prove she was an amazing baker, she is totally upping her game this holiday season with Little Debbie Christmas Tree Cheesecake and other Little Debbie Themed Cheesecakes.  Yes, you read that right.  She will be taking orders.  I can imagine there will be a whole lot of happy Tri-State people when they get these under their tree or on the table for Thanksgiving or Christmas.

We are especially excited because last year we met another Kentucky baker who lives about 3 hours away and also bakes Christmas Tree Cheesecakes but we love even more that Doozie Doez is right in our backyard.  Plus shopping locally is totally awesome.
