Luke Combs Breaks Down After Opry Invitation [VIDEO]

I can tell you that there is NOTHING like watching an artist either get an invitation to join the Grand Ole Opry OR watching the induction itself.

I've never been present for an invite, but I have seen an induction. It was in October of 2017 when Brad Paisley officially inducted Chris Young into the Opry.

It was magic. Again, there's nothing like it.

The invitations get me pretty emotional, too.

Okay, I happen to think Luke Combs is THE hottest country star in the business right now, and it isn't letting up anytime soon.

Additionally, I've noticed, with my monthly Opry visits, that he always makes time to perform on that legendary stage.

So, it makes sense that he would get the invitation. And he did.

Tuesday evening, country artists Chris Janson and Craig Morgan joined country music legend John Conlee to extend the official invitation to Luke.

Congratulations, Luke! At this moment, there may not be anyone more deserving.
