OCTC Student Launches Outfitters Clothing Brand (PHOTOS)
Owensboro High School graduate Britt Gray knows how to kill two birds with one stone. He's attending OCTC pursuing a career in Sports Business and recently launched his own outfitters brand.
Mr. Gray is a 2019 graduate of OHS where he was no stranger to sports. He actually played Football for the school until an injury ended his career. He's an avid fisherman and loves to hunt.
Brit grew up with three brothers and a father who owned his own lawn care business. He said he learned hard work and the value of owning your own business from his dad who has owned his business for over 20 years.
He knew wanted to do something that served his love of the outdoors. Creating an outfitters brand seemed to be the best fit. They introduced Bluegrass Outfitters to the world on October 1st, 2020. Their goal is to include every walk of life into the outdoors.
Currently they are based out of Owensboro and have both Facebook and Instagram social media pages. They have plans to launch a full women's line coming in late spring or early summer.
Britt will finish up his associates degree here at Owensboro Community and Technical College and then has plans to move on to either WKU or Louisville to finish her degree.
This clothing is right up Joe's alley. He loves anything to do with hunting and fishing. He recently took up fishing again after taking a break for a few years.
Britt says they pride themselves on the service and quality behind the brand.
