October Is Pregnancy & Infant Loss Awareness Month And Angel Had A Chance To Share Her Daugher Kathern’s Story (Video)

Yesterday, marked National Pregnancy & Infant Loss Awareness Day.  This is a day I hold close to my heart and also a day I never imagined having to remember as a momma.

The day remembers pregnancy loss and infant death which includes, but is not limited to, miscarriage, still birth, SIDS or the death of a newborn.

I was invited to speak at the Footprints on my Heart Remembrance Day for Babies.  When Chasity Conder and Laura Casey contacted me and asked me to speak I immediately grew anxious thinking to myself "What will I say?"  So I prayed and asked the Lord to guide me.  As he always does he reminded me so gently "Sweet girl tell Kathern's story and speak from your heart, you've got this covered."

Losing a child is somehting you never get over.  I have learned to take each day as it comes and pray a whole lot.  I cling to the few memories I have of my sweet baby and I grab hold of every opportunity I get to talk about her and share her life.  I am blessed the Lord chose me to be her mommy and I know one day we'll meet again and she'll take me home.  Until then I have a beautiful and crazy family to keep me occupied!
