
Here’s When Owensboro’s Old Navy Will Officially Open
Development out in the 54 area has been moving right along for the new stores at Gateway Commons. I know I'm not the only one super excited to have new shopping options. I'm especially pumped for the Old Navy. I know you are too! Well, the time has finally come. We have an official opening date.
I mean, for how many years have you heard people talk about "I wish we had an Old Navy!" or "Owensboro needs an Old Navy!" Our retail prayers have been answered. Lucky us, we'll be able to do our 2025 Christmas shopping there.
Here's When the Old Navy Will Open in Owensboro
General manager of the Owensboro store, Jeremey Cox, gave us the scoop that the official grand opening day is November 13th at 10 AM. There will be opening festivities to be announced, but mark your calendars and cross your fingers for some good sales!

Publix in Owensboro
As excited as I am about new clothes shopping opportunities, I'm also pumped for the Publix! I was just in Nashville for a couple of days, and we had to stop and grab some cookies and take advantage of a BOGO deal. Here is a list of some Publix favorites that we can look forward to.
Gateway Commons Owensboro Shopping Center Layout
I'm sure I'm not the only one wondering where all of the new stores in the Hwy 54 area will be located. Developers Gulfstream Commercial Services recently shared a video that shows a projected view of Gateway Commons once everything is built and open for business.
What Shops Are Coming to Gateway Commons in Owensboro?
In that strip, shoppers already enjoy retailers such as Hobby Lobby, Kirkland's, Ross Dress For Less, PopShelf, Gabe's, Shoe Dept. Encore, 2nd & Charles, Burke's Outlet, Burlington, and Five Below.
Boot Barn, Buckle, Old Navy, Carter's, Sierra Trading Post, HomeGoods, and Publix are projected to be completed end of 2025 and into 2026, as well as a Kroger Marketplace. What retail stores would you like to see come to Owensboro?
