It's a big day for Owensboro's Chris Willis.  The Special Olympian is in Los Angeles competing for Team USA at the 2015 World Games!  And today, he goes for gold in two events.

Later on today, Chris will swim the 50 Backstroke and 4x50 Medley Relay finals.  And, tomorrow, he's going to be very busy in the pool as well.  According to Special Olympics Kentucky, he will swim the 50 Freestyle final Wednesday and the 4x50 Freestyle Relay on Thursday.

And three other Kentucky athletes are in action as well.  Amanda Browning bowled a non-competitive divisioning session Monday to set her competitors for the remaining week.

Gymnast Danielle Blakeney will compete in the event finals today.  Here's footage of Danielle's ribbon routine . . .

And Lee Dockins, who has joined us at the Polar Bear Plunge, will begin competition with preliminaries on July 30 and event finals on August 1.
