Tuesday, in the Special Olympics USA National Games in New Jersey, Owensboro athlete Christopher Willis won a silver medal in the Division #M3 50 YD Breaststroke.

48-year-old Willis shaved six seconds off his prelim time to place 2nd in the event. Willis' silver medal adds to his many awards including two gold medals at the 1999 World Games, and a silver medal in Basketball in 2006 at the National Games.

Willis isn't through at this year's games; he's also participating in the 50 YD Backstroke, 50 YD Freestyle, and is a member of the 4x50 YD Freestyle Relay Team.
