Reid's Orchard is one of our family's favorite places to just go and hang out whether we're picking apples or playing in Reidland.  I recently visited and they had some cute new furry faces.

Angel here!  Chad and I get to go to Reid's quite a bit during the year and hang out.  When we do we always play way more than we work LOL.

In past, Reid's has brought in a petting zoo for the season so the animals were not always on site.  Now you can enjoy them year-round when Reid's is open.  Over the winter Valerie's girls (Bella, Paizley, Finleigh) and Katie's sons (Jack & Reid) decided they wanted farm animals of their own.

Of course, the coolest part is the animals were included in Orchard Academy (virtual school) named by Valerie during the pandemic.  All of the Reid family children would learn about feeding, taking care of them, and playing with them.

There are oodles and oodles of them too.  Some of them are sweet as can be and then you have the roosters (ok they are sweet too unless you squawk at them).

They have Rabbits:  Bun Bun, Leon, Carla & Easter, Goats: Luke, Oreo, S'more & Holly, and Holly the Pig.  Let us not forget the six ducks, 5 chickens, 2 roosters, and a partridge in a pear tree.

One of my favorite parts of visiting with them is they built a playground for the animals to climb on and they really do enjoy it.  I want one of my own in our backyard.

As if the animals were enough you may notice a gorgeous shiny red Ford Studebaker as you come up the orchard drive.  This thing has date night written all over it.  Brad Reid took me for a drive in it on Friday and it is truly one of the most awesome trucks ever.  He told me they bought it in Beaver Dam and wanted to make it part of the farm.  They didn't even have to restore this beauty.  They added new wheels and tires and Reid's logo to the side and she was ready to hit the road.  It is a stick shift and only goes about 35 miles per hour.  Hopefully, they'll let me drive it next time.
