Here at WBKR, we want to honor veterans and reserve a parking space just for them in our parking lot. It's the least we can do for these special heroes. Guess what? You can do it too!

WBKR Participates in Special Veteran Parking Project

It's important to honor our area veterans. Whether you attend a parade, spend time with a veteran, or learn about their service and sacrifice, we can all connect to a veteran in many ways. This was an easy way to make someone's day! More than 285 of these signs have already been installed at businesses all over town. Do you have yours yet?

"A special parking space sign has been created by the Kentucky Veterans Hall of Fame Foundation to assist businesses, schools, churches, etc. in honoring their military veteran employees, customers/clients, and visitors. These heavy-duty, colorful, patriotic-themed military veteran reserved parking space signs are a great way for any business to show that they fully support current and past service to our country."

These special signs cost about $50 each to produce and distribute. A tax-deductible donation of just $50 to the KY Veterans Hall of Fame Foundation is requested for each sign you need. For an additional $25 donation per sign; a signpost, the required installation hardware (nuts, bolts, and washers), and the installation of that sign at a parking space of your choosing is provided.

To order your veteran reserved parking space sign(s), contact your regional HOF representative, Adrian Bambini, (270) 702-8251, bambiniadrian@gmail.com.

Kentucky Veterans Hall of Fame Foundation Mission

The mission of the Kentucky Veterans Hall of Fame Foundation is to honor those military veterans who have gone above and beyond in their service to their community after they have left the military service and these signs help with that mission.

Make a patriotic statement by reserving a parking space for veterans with a special sign from the Kentucky Veterans Hall of Fame Foundation. Join over 285 businesses in showing support for our military heroes.

If you see someone parked in the Reserved for Veterans Parking spot, be sure to thank them for their service! It goes a long way to make their day.
