The Insane Inflatable 5k is on the way! It's for all kinds of fitness levels, so no worries if you aren't in tip-top running condition this is fun for everyone! The Insane Inflatable 5k is more about having fun, and enjoying yourself rather than an actual race. However if you are wanting to run this 5k, join me on a countdown to the 5k and what we can do to prepare! I'm not a runner, however I have a HUGE goal of running a full 5k before the end of the year.  I feel what better way to accomplish my goal than the Insane Inflatable 5k.  It's a 5k that isn't really a race, it's more a day about having a good time.  So if I don't run the whole thing I won't feel so bad, and I won't have to worry about coming in last, because it isn't a race! Perfect!

So here is what to do to get yourself prepared for the Insane Inflatable 5k starting this week!

There is still time to get ready! This week I started towards my goal of running a 5k, by downloaded the Couch to 5k app.

You can get Couch to 5k in Google Play or iTunes, it does cost money though.  I think I spent $1.99 in Google Play, but you can also get a free version, I just personally am a fan of how this version is set up.

According to this app, if you follow it's directions you will go from zero running experience, to being able to run a 5k in 9 weeks! That gives us 4 extra weeks to just do whatever we want!

However I am not a runner, so I'm probably going to use these 4 extra weeks to work towards my 5k goal, because every little bit helps right?

So there is your first step to being II5k ready in a few weeks! I'll have another tip to get you 5k ready next week!

If you haven't done so go ahead and get yourself registered now for the Insane Inflatable 5k Get registered here!!

PRO TIP: the registration prices go up, as the event gets closer, so don't wait, because it won't be this cheap again!
