Splashin’ Safari Named Best Water Park By USA Today [VIDEO]

Last Friday, I went to Holiday World and Splashin' Safari with my Dad, my sister and brother-in-law, and Zoey. I had not been to the park in probably 12-13 years. Of course, it was a blast and I could not believe how much Splashin' Safari had grown. The water park has snagged another honor, this time from USA Today. 

Splashin' Safari has taken Best Outdoor Water Park in the country for the second time in a USA Today poll. A panel of 10Best Editors chose the initial 20 nominees with the top 10 voted on by the public in a popular vote.

The Mammoth, the largest water coaster in the world, is legit! Zoey was a little scared but she made it. I loved how just about everyone in the giant inner tube gets very wet, although I still think I got the brunt of it. And it has great elements, hills, a very dark tunnel where you have no idea who will get the wettest, that would be me. After all, the Mammoth covers more than three acres and goes up to seven stories.
