It was a very successful weekend for the Daviess County High School Archery Team and the team from College View Middle! Both teams claimed indoor national titles!
The Daviess County HS Archery Team is the #1 indoor archery team in the state of Kentucky! They claimed their first Kentucky State Indoor Archery championship title on Saturday and it was epic.
DanceBlue is a 24 hour no sitting, no sleeping dance marathon that was started at the University of Kentucky that benefits the Golden Matrix Fund which works to support cancer research at the Markey Cancer Center and social support at DanceBlue Kentucky Children’s Hospital Pediatric Hematology/Oncology Clinic.

Wednesday night was an incredible night at Buffalo Wild Wings at Towne Square North in Owensboro. The restaurant unveiled a brand new, permanent fixture just above the main entrance. The restaurant is displaying the Apollo Eagles football jersey of Taylor Widmer, a local high school student who was tragically killed in a car accident last August.
