The Daviess County Sheriff's Department is investigating a shooting this morning.

The Daviess County Sheriff's Department needs assistance.  Sheriff Keith Cain is looking for any witnesses of the fatal traffic accident that occurred Friday on U.S. 60 East.

It's been nearly six years since Dr. Lacy Brinton was killed in an accident on the Natcher Parkway.  The investigation into that crash continues.

As Daviess County Sheriff Keith Cain says, "You can't make this stuff up."  According to the department's official Facebook page, "This morning at approximately 3:00 AM deputies were dispatched to a Hazard in the Roadway Complaint in the 7200 Block of Windy Hill Road."  The caller thought there was a cow blocking the roadway.  Except, it wasn't a cow at all.  It was a rhinocero

We're just learning that a Daviess County man has been charged with murder in connection with the death of his infant son.
