The Owensboro Middle School student council is collecting plastic bottle caps to make a bench in memory of classmate, Roxie Pickrell. Roxie passed away in November from brain cancer. The deadline to donate is quickly approaching.

There's a fundraiser happening this afternoon at Freddy's Steakburgers in Owensboro. Proceeds benefit OMS Project Mickey.

Owensboro Middle School South will be hosting it's first annual Holiday Craft Fair just in time for Christmas shoppers!

I drive past Owensboro Middle School every day coming to work and earlier this year noticed they were making some major changes to the football field and track.

Last fall, Good Morning America and Katy Perry teamed up for the "Roar" Video Contest and encouraged schools around the nation to submit music videos for her mega-smash!  Here's what Owensboro Middle School came up with.  They rallied nearly every student in the school and you should just see and hear them ROAR!  Watch!
