A listener called to tell me he had seen "Santa on a moped" in Owensboro! LOL! And he has sent me the photo to prove it! Look!

It's that time of year again and Santa Claus is coming to town!  In fact, he'll arrive at Towne Square Mall THIS Saturday.  Here's the scoop!

Ever wanted to write a letter to Santa, but just didn't know where to send it? Well, contrary to popular belief, this time of year, Jolly Old St. Nick is actually closer than you think... He's in Santa Claus, Indiana, of course! Christmas will be here before we know it, so, sit down with your kiddos, write a letter to Santa and mail it to:

Did you all listen to Talk With Santa yesterday afternoon!  Santa Claus joined me in the WBKR studio from 4pm to 6pm to take phone calls and it was hilarious!  All sorts of kids from the tristate were calling in their last-minute gift requests.  They asked Santa for iPhones, large sabre tooth tigers, high heels and even a massage for mom.  It was an absolute scream.   And we're going to do it agai

This is going to be so much fun.  This Monday and Tuesday (Dec 22nd and Dec 23rd) we are giving your kids one last chance to Talk With Santa!  Yep!  Santa Claus is going to join me in the WBKR studio from 4pm to 6pm CST each day to take phone calls and get those last-minute requests in.  And it's going to be hilarious!

Just before Thanksgiving I had the pleasure of getting a sneak peak at the Santa Claus Land of Lights featuring the full story of Rudolph the Red-Nosed Reindeer, brought to life by thousands upon thousands of beautiful Christmas lights at Lake Rudolph Campground and RV Resort in Indiana.  If you've never been, here's a sneak peak for you . . .

For the second year in a row, Santa Claus is a finalist in the 2012 Best of the Road Rally sponsored by USA Today and Rand McNally. The town will compete with six other destinations in the category for “Most Fun” small town in America. Santa Claus, Indiana was chosen from more than 650 competing destinations.

This is SO cool!  A Facebook friend of WBKR General Manager, LaDonne Craig, was recently tuned into Jeopardy and heard Alex Trebek read a clue that involved everyone's #1 theme park for family fun, Holiday World!  Luckily, the camera was handy to capture a screen shot.  Check it out!

Yes, Christmas is less than a week away. WHAT?!? Aside from all the present wrapping and baking, seven Republicans are hoping for a late Christmas gift in the form of a victory in the January 3rd Iowa Caucuses.

Okay, I'm 36 years old and I haven't sat in Santa's lap in many years, but this year, I discovered a new way to tell the big guy all my wishes. Presenting Santa Bot! I think it was just a matter of time before Santa discovered the internet.
