ORIGINAL STORY 2/19/2020

My history with Ted Nugent can be dated back to the 80's. There were many concerts that I went to around the Detroit area and Ted would make a surprise appearance. Many times in a loin cloth, tarzan outfit and moccasin boots swinging over the crowd.

I also met Ted in the Detroit airport in the early 90's. It was very early in the morning and he was there with his wife and child. I didn't and wouldn't go up to him, although I worked at a rock radio station and played his music, at the time. We ended up boarding the same plane and he was right behind me in line. HE struck up a conversation with me, which took me off guard. He was so nice and even grabbed something out of his carry on bag to autograph for me. Lil' ole' me. This happened decades ago, but I still remember that moment after so many years.
