Jerry Morris and the Angels for Ashley Cooking Team will once again be cooking for St. Jude Children's Research Hospital during the WBKR/Window World St. Jude Radiothon.

Jerry and his team have become an invaluable component in the annual radiothon and the funds that have been raised for St. Jude wouldn't be anywhere near what they have been without their annual cookout.

The Angels for Ashley St. Jude Cookout will take place Thursday and Friday during the length of the radiothon and, as is the tradition, it will happen in front of Shoe Stop, in their new location in Wesleyan Park Plaza in Owensboro.

Pre-orders will be available and the team will offer delivery service for large orders of 20 or more plate lunches.

Here is the menu for Thursday and Friday:

BOSTON BUTTS will be $35.

FULL RACKS OF RIBS will be $25.

WHOLE CHICKENS will be $10.

PLATE LUNCHES are available for donations Thursday and Friday.

And Friday only, there will be FISH and FRENCH FRIES available too!

Additionally, members of the Angels for Ashley Cooking Team will be smoking Boston butts, ribs, and chickens at Norman MacDonald's on Highway 54 in Philpot and plate lunches will be available there as well.

We can't remember exactly when Jerry Morris and his team became a vitally important part of the St. Jude Radiothon, but it wouldn't come close to being as successful as it has been without them.
