The Vortex Celebrates 30th Anniversary at Kings Island [Video]

This year at Kings Island, The Vortex is celebrating its 30th anniversary season!  I cannot tell you how many times I have ridden that coaster in the last thirty years.  I remember when it was built.  It was billed as the first coaster in the world to send riders through six inversions and my friends and I flocked to Kings Island summer after summer to ride it.  We absolutely loved it.  And, thirty years later, we still do!

And, this year, to celebrate its 30th anniversary, the sign above the main entrance to The Vortex has been refurbished.  It was put back into place over the weekend!
