Truckload of Florida Juicy Citrus is Coming to Town

Oranges, Tangerines, Grapefruits and many of their juicy citrus cousins will roll into Owensboro on Saturday. Orange you glad we let you know!

Whether you like smoothies, fruit salads, juice, jams or just like to eat healthy, some popular varieties of citrus fruits will be available on Saturday. It's time to fire up the blender.

My Mom made the best jelly and jams around. She canned them every season so we could enjoy those peanut butter & jelly sandwiches all year long. There was nothing better. She also made us fresh orange juice for breakfast most mornings. I never had the patience for that, but I will make a smoothie sometimes. Fresh fruit is just the best!

And, it also has many health benefits which is an added bonus.

Florida Honeybells, Navel Oranges, Sol-Zest Tangerines, Ruby Red Grapefruits & Raw Orange Blossom Honey will be up for grabs on Saturday, January 11th, 2020 from 3:30PM - 5:00PM. Georgia Elliott Pecans will also join the citrus family at the Owensboro Peddlers Mall parking lot.
