Two of the Best Go-To Breakfast Spots in Panama City Beach Florida
DINING OUT IN PCB
We have been coming to PCB for years. From breakfast to dinner and all the snacks in between we have tried so much. Panama City Beach has so many different restaurants to choose from and they are all incredible. Whether you're wanting something from the sea or filling your tummy after a good night's rest. Let's talk breakfast.
BRING ON BREAKFAST
Panama does not have a shortage of places to eat breakfast but there are two must-visit places that are absolutely yummy and locally owned.
Fatty Patty's Southern Cafe
We stumbled across Fatty Patty's when my son, Tucker, said he wanted to eat pancakes. I asked my phone to search best pancakes in PCB and up popped Fatty Patty's. Conveniently it was just a few minutes down the road and the best find ever.
They serve both breakfast and lunch. The breakfast was to die for. I ordered a veggie omelet with a side of toast and potatoes. The kids got pancakes, eggs, and sausage, and everything was so good. It is cooked from scratch too.
Our favorite part of the breakfast menu-Cinnamon Roll French Toast with Cream Cheese Icing.
Take a look at the menu.
The breakfast plates come with plenty of food to fill you up.
My husband says he could do the Chubby Challenge. I can't imagine anyone eating that much food but it has been done. Check out the size of that burger!
Thomas Donuts & Snack Shop
When we visited the Holiday Inn Resort PCB last may we saw some folks from Owensboro. I was sunbathing by the pool and one of our mail carriers stopped to chat. They asked us if we had ever been to Thomas Donuts and we said no and they were shocked. They told us it was one of their favorites and we had to go check it out so that is exactly what we did.
I mean who says NO to donuts?! Not us. We hoped in the car and drove down Front Beach Road to their shop. Be prepared it is more like a snack shop than a restaurant so don't feel the need to get dressed up. They have tables outside on the deck which looks out over the Gulf of Mexico.
Thomas Donuts has been locally owned and operated since 1971 this shop has all the classic recipes as well as some signature dishes that are sure to be just what you’re looking for. Whether you’re in town, or here on vacation, stop by Thomas Donut & Snack Shop.
They had a wide variety of donuts. The donuts are made fresh daily and they are some of the best we've ever had. Angel here and I am not really a donut person but these were amazing. My husband, Joe, got a beach bun which is a warm donut wrapped around a scoop of your favorite flavor of ice cream and sealed. I got a blueberry cake donut and donut holes and they were melt-in-your-mouth good.
PCB is a wonderful place for families to make memories and try some of the best food around. Be sure to check these places out on your next vacation.
