Walmart, Sam’s Club Will Require Customers to Wear Masks
When I was at Walmart yesterday, the attendant at the door thanked me for wearing a mask as I was entering.
While inside, I didn't see a customer without one, leading me to assume the mask requirement at the retail giant was already in place.
It was not yesterday. It will be Monday.
On July 20th, Walmart and Sam's Club will begin mandating that all customers wear masks upon entering its stores.
In a July 15th online message to Walmart consumers, Walmart U.S. Chief Operating Officer, Dacona Smith, and Sam's Club Chief Operating Officer, Lance de la Rosa, addressed the company's concerns about the spike in cases across the U.S. and acknowledged that nearly two-thirds of its stores are in areas where state governments have already mandated the wearing of masks.
