Exciting news from the Wendell Foster Center.  After hosting the very successful Wendell Foster 5K in June, organizers have announced a brand new event for downtown.  On Saturday, March 23rd, Wendell Foster will host its first ever half marathon.

The race will begin at 7:30am on Veterans Boulevard in downtown Owensboro.  According to Wendell Foster Race Director John Gleason, "Late March will offer cooler temperatures . . . which will be perfect for the half marathon distance."
Registration is currently underway and you can sign up by CLICKING HERE!
Following the tradition it began with its inaugural 5K, Wendell Foster Center is offering prize money to the event's top finishers.  Plus, each runner who completes the course will be awarded "huge finisher medals!"
The Wendell Foster Half Marathon is, of course, an officially timed 13.1 mile course, with eight water stations positioned along the race route.
