Western Kentucky Car Show Donates Massive $30,000 to St. Jude

There were hundreds of antique cars, hot rods, muscle cars, jeeps, and bikes on the streets of Owensboro for the inaugural Bluegrass Legends Experience Car Show. Whether you wanted to eat some delicious food, listen to live music, show off your classic car, or check out the best vintage vehicles in town, there was something for the entire family. It was a huge success raising money for St. Jude Children's Research Hospital.

Did you attend the newly minted car show over the summer? It was the party of the year! Over 1,000 motoring enthusiasts of all ages took in the Bluegrass Legends Experience Car Show / Food Truck Rally / Vendor Show and Swap Meet at Moreland Park and the Owensboro Sportscenter. As we take a look back, Jimmie and Janie Rhoades are hard at work planning this year's show. We're so excited!

SUE HENDERSON, NATIONAL AMBASSADOR FOR ST. JUDE

Sue Henderson, National Ambassador for St. Jude, has raised more than $500,000 over the last 13 years for St. Jude. The hospital is something near and dear to her heart. Sue is a person who donates time, money, and talent for the mission. She's one of my favorite people. With the Bluegrass Biker News, many volunteers, and Sue, the support for the children at St. Jude Children's Research Hospital is unmatched. Working with Sue is the highlight of my year, and we're so glad she joined us for the St. Jude Radiothon this year!

2023 BLUEGRASS LEGENDS EXPERIENCE CAR SHOW DONATION

Jimmy, Janie, and Sue all stopped by the St. Jude Radiothon to make a check presentation from the Bluegrass Legends Experience and Bluegrass Biker News. They're passionate about the welfare of others especially, the children at St. Jude. They know the importance of helping people not only in the community but around the world.
