The National Weather Service has placed the tristate under a Wind Advisory for Thursday.  In addition to seeing sustained winds between 25 to 35 mph, we could see much stronger gusts throughout the day.  Here's a look at the latest forecast and the potentially affected areas.

The Wind Advisory will be in effect from 10am to 7pm CST on Thursday, April 11th.  According the National Weather Service forecast, peak winds will begin late Thursday morning and continue much of the afternoon.  It's believed parts of the WBKR listening area will see sustained winds between 25 and 35 mph, but gusts up to 50 mph are possible.   Residents in the area are advised to be on the lookout for fallen trees and downed power lines.
