Messages in the Sand Can Win You Concert Tickets and a Trip to Florida

How would you like to win a trip here?  That's the Holiday Inn Resort in Panama City Beach, Florida!  Well, here at WBKR, we're giving you the chance to win a mini-vacation with our brand new contest. It's called Written in the Sand and here's how it works.

As you likely know, Old Dominion recently announced that they are bringing their 2023 No Bad Vibes Tour to the Ford Center in Evansville on Thursday, January 19th. In fact, that's opening night of the tour and it's going to be awesome.

We have six pairs of tickets to that show to give away.  And, for this contest, we're paying tribute to one of Old Dominion's biggest hits- "Written in the Sand."

Here's how the contest is going to work.  Angel and I are going to be broadcasting live from the Holiday Inn Resort on Monday and Tuesday (October 31st and November 1st). We're hanging out with the winners of our Fun in the Sun 500 contest for a couple of days to share the resort with them and, possibly, with you!  Yes, we have another trip up for grabs!!!

We're going to be spending time on the beach and are going to be writing messages in the sand, much like this one.

By the way, that's NOT one of our official messages, but we thought it was fun and went right along with the name of Old Dominion's tour.

We're going to share messages that are Written in the Sand (by the two of us) here in Panama City Beach, Florida.  Each message will be worth a pair of tickets to see Old Dominion in Evansville. To win, make sure you look for the messages here at WBKR.com and on the WBKR app.  And, remember, your first three messages are below.

Message #1 will be for the morning show on October 31st. You'll need Message #2 in order to be able to win with Barb and Message #3 to with Dave Spencer.  And, just so you know, Angel and I will ask for Message #4 on the November 1st morning show. Barb will ask for Message #5 that day and Dave Spencer will ask for Message #6.

Each show, we'll ask you to be Caller #92 for the chance to win tickets to see Old Dominion in concert. If you give us the correct message, you'll snag a pair of tickets to that show. As I mentioned and outlined above, we have six pairs of tickets to give away.

But, there's more! Those six messages are also going to be necessary for you to have a chance to win our trip to the resort!

The six messages are pulling double-duty and will also serve as clues to an iconic Panama City Beach, Florida destination. On Wednesday morning (November 2nd), we'll ask for Caller #92. If you're that caller and know what destination those messages add up to and represent, you are going to win that 3-day, 2-night stay.
