Even with an ice storm and schools shut down the week of the WBKR 2023 Window World St. Jude Radiothon the local communities still came together in a major way.

Everyone had one common goal and that was to raise money for the kids of St. Jude Children's Research Hospital.

Here are our incredible guests and highlights of this year's St. Jude Radiothon.
Local musician from Hartford, Ariel Harper brought her band The High Wheels to perform and encourage others to become a Partner in Hope.

Owensboro High School graduate and Kentucky Country Music Artist, Cam Thompson, sang an original song about his own adoption called "A Letter To".  Grab a tissue if you're a momma.

Henderson native and long-time WBKR listener, Eddie Maddux made his 7th appearance on the radiothon with another original St. Jude song.  Brandon Nunn has been a part of the radiothon for 4 years.

Without the special guest performances from all our special guests, the radiothon would not be the same.  They bring their talents and share them with the Tri-State in a variety of ways.  Each performer was able to reach their Partner in Hope goal.

The radiothon lasted a total of 26 hours over two days and raised a total of over $309,000.

That money goes to make sure that no child or family ever pays a dime when they receive services or stay at St. Jude Children's Research Hospital.  This allows families to totally focus on their children while the doctors work to find ways to cure their children.
