Jaclyn Graves

I was born in Jackson, TN, but grew up Milan, TN and Mayfield, KY. Ever since I can remember, I've loved the stage. I started singing in public at the age of six at the First Baptist Church in Milan. When I got my first solo, my Mom said, “I didn’t even know she liked to sing!” Ha! I've been blessed to perform on many stages in my life and have even opened for Jake Owen, Eric Church, Gary Allan, Justin Moore, Kellie Pickler, Rodney Atkins, Montgomery Gentry and more. One of the coolest things I've been able to do is to sing (in Latin!) at Notre Dame Cathedral in Paris, France. Such a beautiful place and an unforgettable experience. I am a proud graduate of Western Kentucky University (Go Tops!) and a lifelong member of Kappa Delta sorority. As most of you know, I'm s HUGE sports fan! I even worked with the WKU men’s basketball team for 3 ½ years while at Western. Being that I grew up in Tennessee, I'm a Vols fan and a Titans girl! After living in Owensboro for only two weeks, I met Chad. (I knew no one, so I wasn't picky, ha!) We, obviously became instant friends and he convinced me to work here at WBKR. I started here on The Morning Show with Chad and Moon, but after my sweet and sassy Carsyn was born, early mornings just weren't going to cut it! I love the Midday Show and talking with y'all day after day. As you know, my Carsyn is my world and I appreciate y'all letting my go on and on about her! I LOVE country music... from Waylon to the Randy Rogers Band, my baby-daddy Luke and the Florida Georgia Line! Being a part of our community thru WBKR is my favorite part of my job! Y'all are the best listeners ever!

Carsyn’s Pet Fish Died And We Had It A Proper Burial [VIDEO]

We all know that I'm not great at keeping pets alive at our home. Don't judge me people, it just tends to go bad, ha! But, Carsyn got a pet fish, Orangy and it had a good run. But, like they say, all good things must come to an end.

So, when we checked on Orangy the other day and realized he had gone to a better place, we knew we had to have a proper burial for him. And, naturally, I filmed it.

Take a look... I think Carsyn did a great job!

I have been through ICE! several times, so I already knew it was amazing! But, this weekend, I got to share the experience with my family. My mom, step-dad, sister, two nieces and Carsyn headed to Nashville for Gaylord's "A Country Christmas" and had a blast!

The little girls loved ICE! and us grown-ups did too! This year, ICE! has a new theme, "Frosty the Snowman". The colors were so bright and pretty and I took some pictures to show y'all!

It's no secret that I'm a Florida Georgia Line fan, I have been since the first time I heard "Cruise". I love their music, style and quite honestly, they're just really nice guys. So, I was naturally excited to chat with them this morning about their upcoming show at The Ford Center in February, new music and what the heck BK just got tattooed on his arm, haha!

Warning... Tyler sounds like he's dying, but he's gonna be alright. Haha!

LoCash Cowboys “Best Seat In The House” [VIDEO]

Chills and tears are what you can expect from the LoCash Cowboys latest video. "Best Seat In The House" is a ballad about a deceased father watching over and always being there for his son.

This song is a change from the upbeat, rockin' style that we're so used to from Preston and Chris, but I can promise you... you're gonna love this song and touching video!

Local Musician To Play With Country Legends

Jim Heep is an Owensboro resident with a really awesome job... he's a musician. Now, I may be a little bias because I've been lucky enough to have Jim play for me on occasion, but I feel like he's one of the best steel guitar players I've seen. And, I know that I'm not the only one who feels that way. Locally, he's played for myself, Insulated and Brasher Bogue, just to name a few. He's also had the pleasure of playing on country music's greatest stages, The Grand Ole Opry and The Ryman Auditorium. He most recently has been on the road with newcomer Chris Janson, but now he'll be taking the stage with a few country music legends.

‘The Voice’ Viewers, Blake Shelton Furious After ‘Lord’ Removed From Gospel Song

It's inevitable during an awards show or a live performance, words of songs tend to get "bleeped" from the performance. Just a few weeks ago Kacey Musgraves had a word or two dropped from her live performance at the CMA's. But, normally, when a word is changed or bleeped, it's because it's offensive.
