Jaclyn Graves

I was born in Jackson, TN, but grew up Milan, TN and Mayfield, KY. Ever since I can remember, I've loved the stage. I started singing in public at the age of six at the First Baptist Church in Milan. When I got my first solo, my Mom said, “I didn’t even know she liked to sing!” Ha! I've been blessed to perform on many stages in my life and have even opened for Jake Owen, Eric Church, Gary Allan, Justin Moore, Kellie Pickler, Rodney Atkins, Montgomery Gentry and more. One of the coolest things I've been able to do is to sing (in Latin!) at Notre Dame Cathedral in Paris, France. Such a beautiful place and an unforgettable experience. I am a proud graduate of Western Kentucky University (Go Tops!) and a lifelong member of Kappa Delta sorority. As most of you know, I'm s HUGE sports fan! I even worked with the WKU men’s basketball team for 3 ½ years while at Western. Being that I grew up in Tennessee, I'm a Vols fan and a Titans girl! After living in Owensboro for only two weeks, I met Chad. (I knew no one, so I wasn't picky, ha!) We, obviously became instant friends and he convinced me to work here at WBKR. I started here on The Morning Show with Chad and Moon, but after my sweet and sassy Carsyn was born, early mornings just weren't going to cut it! I love the Midday Show and talking with y'all day after day. As you know, my Carsyn is my world and I appreciate y'all letting my go on and on about her! I LOVE country music... from Waylon to the Randy Rogers Band, my baby-daddy Luke and the Florida Georgia Line! Being a part of our community thru WBKR is my favorite part of my job! Y'all are the best listeners ever!

Jac’s Top Five Vintage Wish List for Summer of 2014

So, I've picked up a new hobby. Although I've never been accused of being an "old soul," certain vintage things are appealing to me. While visiting some friends at Consignment Connection the other day I came across an old Loretta Lynn record.

PS - She is gorgeous.
PPS - She DID NOT have on a 1990 prom dress!

My discovery of this little treasure has sparked a new found interest...

Willie Nelson Turns 81 And Did What?

Willie Nelson is one of the most decorated artist in any genre of music. This week, the living legend turns 81 years old and you're not going to believe what he did! And, don't worry, he didn't cut off his trademark braids, ha!

To be 81 years old and still be touring the country like he does, we all know that he must be in great physical condition. Now, we know why... (And, no... it's not because of that either, haha!)

Country Star To Sing National Anthem At The Kentucky Derby

It's an honor to sing the National Anthem anywhere, but to have the honor of only being the sixth person to ever sing it at the Kentucky Derby must feel amazing. This year, the performance goes to a country music artist who I just know will make us all proud.

My “Downs After Dark” Night [PHOTOS]

As I told y'all last week, I've been to Churchill Downs once. I think it was the 2005 Kentucky Derby. I spent the day in the Infield and I'll be honest... I don't think I saw a horse once, the day is a little hazy, ha! So, I was pretty excited when a college roommate of mine from Western invited me up to Louisville to go to Downs After Dark for her birthday.

I got a few dresses together, made a quick last-minute stop to Blossoms Friday afternoon for some appropriate head-wear and hit I-64 early Saturday morning. After a day filled with shopping, food and catching up on some much needed Court/Jac time, we got ready to head to the track!

What Does TASER Stand For?

Ok, so I've never really sat around and thought to myself, "Hmm... I just can't help but wonder what 'Taser' stands for." Ha! I mean, I know what a Taser is and I sure as heck had fun tasing Chad a few weeks ago. (Karma is real people and it feels sooo good, ha!)

Last night, a Twitter account I follow tweeted that TASER is an acronym. The name actually means something and I thought it was interesting. So... what do you think it stands for? Here's a hint... it's not "Taming And Subduing Excessive Rebels". (Hey, I just came up with that on the spot, that's pretty impressive, right?!?)

Ok, Taser stands for...
