Fatheads--those gigantic cardboard heads you see in the crowds at basketball games--used to just be images related to the game. Nowadays, you see Honey Boo Boo, cast members from The Office, you name it. It's hilarious.

The most recent fathead I saw, however, had everything to do with the game during which it was displayed. Whoever the kid is in the photo, kudos to him for capturing an image of Duke head coach Mike Krzyzewski that those of us who watched Thursday night's Duke/Virginia game saw plenty of during the Blue Devils' 73-68 loss to the Cavaliers.

Seriously, Coach K was angry the whole night, mostly at the refs. But when the Virginia fans stormed the court after the win, he turned his anger toward the crowd.

Court stormings have been rampant this season thanks to so many top five teams--19 at last count--losing to unranked opponents. And, I have to say, Coach K's issue with that particular type of celebration isn't without merit.

Yes, it's a blast to watch the students celebrate a victory that--let's face it--could be deemed unlikely, but with so many people squeezed into such relatively close quarters while jumping up and down and in a state of borderline unhinged euphoria, it feels like it's just a matter of time before someone gets hurt.

Hopefully that won't happen. Hopefully, security will see to it.

But, let's be honest, none of that makes the Coach K fathead any less funny.
