My good friend, and former WBKR air personality, CJ Taylor--along with Lulu, a pit/terrier mix--joined me this week to talk about the upcoming Daviess County Animal Shelter Staff Appeciation Day.

The event is set for this Saturday afternoon from noon until 3PM at the shelter on Highway 81. This is a great opportunity for any of you to visit the shelter and take a tour of the facility.

Plus, members of the shelter staff will be on hand to give you any suggestions about how to correct behavioral problems in your pet. Of course, the Staff Appreciation Day will double as an adoption event.

If you're looking to bring a pet into your home, I can't think of a better opportunity to make that connection than this Saturday afternoon at the shelter. And, the Spay-a-Stray ladies will be available to provide low-cost spaying and neutering, an invaluable service. The importance of spaying and neutering cannot be stressed enough.

There are so many homeless pets--really good animals--that need homes, and the Daviess County Animal Shelter is a perfect provider.

If you're looking for a pet, you're welcome to visit the shelter this Saturday from noon til 3PM during Staff Appreciation Day.
