The American Cancer Society, Diamond Lake Campground and Resort and WBKR want you to get "Up, Down and Dirty for a Cure!"  We are hosting the first-ever "Mud Run" in Daviess County and it's coming up Saturday, April 20th and Sunday, April 21st at Diamond Lake Campground and Resort.  So, what exactly is a "mud run?"  Well, we've got all the details and registration info here at WBKR.com!

Up, Down and Dirty for a Cure is an extreme 5k foot race that features rough terrain, military-style obstacles, mud and water.   A variety of local businesses and contractors have pitched in to help build over one dozen obstacles and race features that range from a boot camp-inspired scaling wall, features that force you into the military crawl position,  rope climbs, water/mud traps and, my personal favorite element, a gigantic hillside slip-and-slide!

The registration fee for Up, Down and Dirty for a Cure is just $65 per person and includes:

Entry fee

Event t-shirt

Course insurance (mandatory)

Admission to the after-party

One free beer or sports drink

Access to shower facilities

All proceeds from the event benefit the American Cancer Society and Relay For Life, which is set for 6pm, Friday, May 17th at Diamond Lake Campground and Resort!

April 20th is the competitive day.  April 21st is the family fun day at the Mud Run course.
