Finally!  If you have been watching American Idol this season, you have probably spent a lot of time scratching your head like I have.  Some folks that I have been rooting for have been cast aside.  Others, who I don't get at all, have been passed through to the live shows.  But tonight and Wednesday, America, our voices get to be heard.  Twenty contestants remain and our votes will determine who makes it into the Top 10.  Among the folks in the running, former WBKR Battle for the Big O finalist, Paul Jolley!

Here's Paul's performance from the Sudden Death round.  He took on Keith Urban's song "Tonight I Wanna Cry."  WATCH!

Paul is now one of ten guys vying for just five spots for males in the Idol Top Ten!  So tune in tonight and Wednesday to cheer him on.  And be sure to catch the live results show on Thursday evening to see if Paul makes it to the Idol big stage!

As you may have heard, Paul is originally from Western Kentucky.  He now resides in Palmersville, TN.  He has a long history of performing in this area.  He was a frequent performer at Goldie's and, like we have mentioned, a former finalist in our Battle for the Big O competition.

We are rooting for you, Paul!

American Idol can be seen weekly on WEVV Fox 44!
