Former WBKR Intern’s Cover of Poison’s “Every Rose Has Its Thorn” [Video]

It's been a couple of years since Whitney Merritt spent her high school year at Owensboro High School interning here at the WBKR studios.  And since then, she's been busy working and going to school and pursuing her real passion- singing.  In the last couple of years, Whitney has auditioned for The X Factor (she got a call back) and The Voice and she's been playing guitar and posting videos on YouTube.  We thought we'd share one with you.  Check this out.  In this clip, Whitney is taking on one of our absolute favorite songs of the 1980's . . .
