Glow in the Park This Weekend in Owensboro

Here at WBKR we are very excited about a brand new event coming to Yellow Creek Park.  It's called Glow in the Park: The Ultimate Party Fun Run!  It's a "Glow in the Dark" 5K and is coming up THIS Saturday night at Yellow Creek Park.  About a thousand runners have signed up already and there is still time for you to be part of the action.  Get all the scoop on Owensboro's first-ever "glow in the dark" event and register to participate right here at WBKR.com!

Glow in the Park is proudly presented by New Beginnings of Owensboro.  The Fun Run features a nighttime 5K that will literally leave you glowing from head to toe.  Plus, there are obstacles along the course like gigantic foam pits, two glow-water sprays and two glow-powder dustings!  And, at the end of the race, there's a big "glow-in-the-dark" dance party with live music and a DJ!

Saturday's run is set to get underway at roughly 8:20pm, with the Glow in the Dark after party set to start around 10:30pm!

• $40 through August 9
• $45 on run day
