To say this is one of the hottest summers I can ever remember would be an understatement. Last week, Eyewitness News Chief Meteorologist told me that we'd had around 49 days of, at least, 90-degree weather. Fourteen of those days topped 100 degrees.

And, now, it seems the heatwave has drastically affected one of America's longest-standing national landmarks.

I mean, I knew it was hot, but this is ridiculous.
