One night when I was at the Grand Ole Opry, the Oak Ridge Boys were slated for a performance about midway through the evening.

When it was their time, they all came out, greeted announcer Eddie Stubbs and all those who were on stage and then Joe Bonsall looked to the audience and said, "Hey, let's sing 'Elvira!'"

Now...Little Big Town ALSO does "Elvira" in its Opry sets sometimes and it's a slower bluesy, smoky version of the multi-million-selling classic.

Side note: I love it when the legends come out and join the newer acts on the Opry stage and one of the main reasons is watching the new stars react to performing with their heroes.

Can't get enough of it.

And with that...giddy up a-oom pomp-a-oom pomp-a mow mow..

(I GUESS that's how you spell it.)
