When I tuned in to the season finale of NBC's The Sing Off, I was convinced that one of the guys in the country group Home Free looked familiar.  Turns out there was a very good reason I thought so.  About a year and a half ago, I featured Tim Foust in my "Country Fried YouTube Cover of the Week" column here at WBKR.com.  Remember this?

Well, fast forward to today and Tim is a proud member of Home Free, the country acapella group that just won The Sing Off.  And they did it with some great "country-fried" covers.  Here's Home Free performing Hunter Hayes' "I Want Crazy."

And here they are taking on Zac Brown Band's "Colder Weather."

Home Free will release their debut album Crazy Life digitally on January 14th courtesy of Columbia Records. It will feature original music, plus covers of Johnny Cash's "Ring of Fire" and the medley of Hunter Hayes hits that helped them win the title on The Sing Off.

Congratulations, Tim!  We had a hunch great things were going to happen and that you were on "The Edge of Glory!"
