Replacement Refs — What Does Kizzy Think?

Last night, Russell Wilson threw a disputed 24-yard touchdown pass to Golden Tate on the final play of the game, allowing the Seattle Seahawks to beat the Green Bay Packers, 14-12, in Seattle.  Seattle (2-1) registered the game-winning score only after a long official review declined to overturn the touchdown ruling on the field. Several camera angles seemed to suggest that the play could have been ruled an interception by Green Bay (1-2).

HILARIOUS! Kizzy Rides the Train at Pumpkinfest [Video]

We had a ball over the weekend hosting Pumpkinfest, which included WBKR's "The Run for Your Life" Zombie Run, The Pumpkin Princess Pageant and more.  On Saturday, Kizzy joined us for some fun and hitched a ride on the Lil' Smiling Choo Choo, which took guests on a scenic ride through Moreland Park.  Kizzy's ride was scenic too . . . but a little noisier than the rest of the rides.  Watch!  This is a scream.  And pay extra special attention about 3 and half minutes in when Kizzy unknowingly stops a tennis tournament in its tracks.  The players have no idea what hits em!

WBKR's "The Run for Your Life" is coming up Friday night and our zombies are ready to chase runners through the dark city streets of Owensboro.  But there's one face you won't see in the crowd . . . Kizzy's!  And, she called The WBKR Waking Crew to tell Moon and Chad exactly why she would not be participating in the Zombie Run.  Listen!  This is hysterical!

Kizzy Meets Blake Shelton: Unauthorized Footage!! [Video]

It wasn't supposed to happen.  She didn't have an official "meet and greet" pass.  But, Kizzy had a dream, a passion gnawing at her innards like a pork rind and Diet Rite!  She wanted to meet Blake "Honey Bee Buzz Buzz" Shelton at The Big O Music Fest and nothing was going to stand in her way.  And despite the pesky security guards and Blake's mean, ol' road manager, our little Juliet pushed her way through the crowds to get to her Romeo.  And we have the video proof!  Yep!  WBKR has obtained a pirate copy of their encounter.  WATCH!!

Kizzy Sings a Duet with Jo Dee Messina [Video]

We had a blast hanging out with Jo Dee Messina backstage at The Big O Music Fest.  And, after Jo Dee got over her initial "Kizzy" shock, the two became fast friends.  In fact, Kizzy told Jo Dee that she 's a big fan of her song "Lesson in Leavin" and the two belted out an impromptu duet.  Luckily, our cameras were rolling!  WATCH!

Country music superstar Trace Adkins is bringing his "Songs and Stories" Tour to The Centre in Evansville TONIGHT!  It's going to be an awesome show and Kizzy, for one, sure is excited (or . . . Barbecue Festival – Why was 2009′s Moon’s Favorite?

It is hard to believe it's time for Owensboro's famous International Barbecue Festival. A week from Friday it opens and all the great barbecue aromas and thick, blinding smoke will waft through downtown. WBKR will be broadcasting from the event on both days. My favorite year was 2009. I was joined on the air by Kizzy and on the streets by lovely Mrs. Moon.
