Kimberly Perry debuts my new feature, "Under the Magnifying Glass". I have sent out a trove of reporters (all named Watson) to scour the Internet for the most intriguing facets of country stars and other celebrities. And, since I dig Kimberly Perry a LOT I thought I'd start with the little darlin' from The Band Perry.

It seems that Kimberly Perry isn't a big fan of surprises and just about ruined her proposal! Here's the deal... she knew that something was up with her now fiance' was headed to hang with her and her family at their family farm in Tennessee. The Band Perry is always entertaining onstage, and at the 2013 CMA Awards, they lit up the stage -- literally -- with their new single 'Don't Let Me Be Lonely.'

The Band Perry performed their first sold-out headlining show in Ontario, Canada on Sunday (Oct. 20), bringing the goods to all the country music-lovin' Canucks.

Saturday night I met Kimberly Perry (and her brothers, too) backstage at the Ford Center. She was so nice and sweet and so petite! Neil and Reid were very pleasant as well. My NASCAR writin' buddy Blake Smith went with me. Now, I had had visions of Blake taking a picture of me with Kimberly using my camera or phone. The Band Perry had other plans...

In this week's episode of 'Glee,' the musical dramedy will pay tribute to one of its cast members, Cory Monteith, who passed away in July after battling addiction issues.

Saturday I am heading to Evansville for the Kimberly Perry Show. Yes, I know it's Rascal Flatts and The Band Perry, but I am going to see her. My NASCAR buddy, Blake Smith, is going with me. Now last week Chad and Nashville Kat told me about The Band Perry was pairing up to record with a punk band called "Fall Out Boy" on an episode of 'CMT Crossroads.'

The Band Perry will begin their first headlining tour this fall in Sweden. The We Are Pioneers Tour kicks off on Nov. 8 in Gothenburg and will continue through 10 European countries (20 shows total) before returning to North America in 2014.
