Someone Is Holding a $10 Million Kentucky Powerball Ticket
It looks like it's time to, once again, play "What Would You Do If You Won the Lottery?" You and I both know it's almost a reflex action after someone scores the big bucks in a drawing.
And yes, someone out there is sitting on a boatload of money thanks to their amazing good fortune at a Circle K in Oldham County KY. But right now, that person's name REMAINS "someone"; they have yet to come forward. Either they don't know, or they do and they're getting their ducks in a row.
Powerball Double Play
In November of 2023, the Kentucky Lottery introduced a new feature called Double Play, and here's how it works:
Players who purchase a Powerball ticket will have the option to add-on the Double Play feature upon purchase that will include them into a second drawing using their same Powerball numbers! Players cannot select different numbers for the Double Play drawing or cancel the ticket after purchase.
Drawings are held on Mondays, Wednesdays, and Fridays at around 11:30 PM Eastern, and players can win up to $10 million with the new feature. Whoever won this most recent drawing is the largest winner of the Double Play feature to date.
The Winning Powerball Double Play Numbers
The ticket was purchased at the Circle K in Crestwood KY this weekend. The winning numbers were 1-31-33-54-60 Powerball 26. Check out the odds of scoring such an enormous prize:
It's amazing, isn't it? You spend THREE dollars, and you get a return of $10 million. That's one of the best ROIs (returns on investment) I have ever seen.
The winner has 180 days from the time of purchase to claim their jackpot.
