Angel's Kids' Fall Break Off To A Great Start

Fall Break got off to an exciting start this past weekend at my house.It all started as Charlotte, 10 months, took the stage at the Trunnell's Great Pumpkin Pageant. This was her first pageant so I was a little unsure how she would handle all the people. She worked that crowd like Honey Boo Boo from 'Toddlers and Tiaras.' She smiled and laughed and interacted with everyone. To our delight, she was crowned "Itsy Bitsy Pumpkin Princess."

As if that was not enough excitement for one day, my son Parker, finally got his moment to shine. This past weekend was youth weekend for deer season so my husband, Joe, took Parker out and let him hunt with his muzzle loader. The morning hunt didn't go so well but low and behold they decided to go back out in the evening. I received this picture right before dark with a text that said "Rookie."

Then to my surprise about 10 minutes later I received a text saying "he just shot and we are tracking it." The next text I got was this picture!

YAY PARKER!!!!

Needless to say, our break is off to a FANTASTIC start! Hope everyone has a great Fall Break too!
