Cancer Patient Brock Pederson Raises Money for St. Jude Radiothon
Meet Brock. Brock is one tough cookie. Brock Pederson, who has family in Owensboro and Ohio County, is currently battling cancer in Texas. That's not stopping him from raising money for St. Jude.
On Nov 9, 2018, he was diagnosed with stage 3 T-Cell lymphoblastic lymphoma. In the past year, Brock has battled this aggressive form of cancer and has been treated at Texas Children's Hospital in Houston which uses St. Jude protocols. Brock has been in the hospital since the end of July and underwent a bone marrow transplant a week ago.
But even that hasn't brought him down. He decided that he was going to fight back by raising money for St. Jude. It is because of the research that they freely share, that Brock is with us today. He posted this to Facebook in the hopes of raising $500 for St. Jude in three days.
