Volunteers Needed For The Upcoming St. Jude Radiothon in Owensboro
The 2026 WBKR Window World St. Jude Radiothon is coming up on Thursday, February 5th and Friday, February 6th. We'll once again be rallying the troops and raising money for the patients and families of St. Jude Children's Research Hospital in Memphis.
The St. Jude Radiothon airs on The Country Station, 92.5 WBKR from 6am to 7pm both days and we'll once again have a live phone bank at the radio station.

That phone bank will be staffed by a wonderful team of volunteers and St. Jude supporters.
They'll be answering phones and getting us new St. Jude Partners-in-Hope. To become a Partner, all you have to do is pledge $19 a month for 12 months on a debit or credit card.
If you've joined us before or you're looking to become part of the WBKR St. Jude family for the first time, there is a policy change this year. We need all volunteers working the phone bank to pass a background check. The process is relatively quick and easy.
Simply click this link and follow the instructions:
https://volunteer.stjude.org/custom/515/organization_details/7271
You will be asked to select a time frame during which you plan to answer phones for us. Choose the time frame that best matches your wishes. Don't worry! You won't be limited to this time frame. This process is primarily used to get you access to the phone and computer system you'll be using during the Radiothon.
The process to be cleared can take a few business days, so please complete this process as quickly as possible so we can make sure you're ready to roll once the WBKR St. Jude Radiothon gets underway.
Also, please note. You'll be given the option of paying for the background check (to relieve St. Jude of the expense). However, you are more than welcome to opt out of paying for it. We want you to be a part of our team in the way that's most convenient for you.
Thanks so much for being a part of the WBKR St. Jude family. We're anticipating another record year of fundraising and recognize that we simply cannot do that without your help and support.
