Cedar Point Amusement Park in Sandusky, Ohio is world-famous for the biggest and fastest roller coasters in the world.  They are giving "Everyday Heroes" the chance of a lifetime.

Before Friday, May 29, you can nominate your favorite "Everyday Hero" for the chance to win a lifetime ticket.  Here is what the website says;

In the midst of the global pandemic, heroes have risen to the challenges of keeping our communities safe, healthy, and supplied with the necessary goods and services to continue daily life. Now, Cedar Point is giving back and celebrating those everyday heroes with a chance to be awarded the unprecedented Ticket of a Lifetime – a ticket that affords the recipient lifetime admission to Cedar Point and Cedar Point Shores Waterpark.

The everyday heroes of our communities include frontline nurses, doctors, EMT’s, caregivers, supply chain workers, parents who are now self-taught teachers, grocery store and retail workers, neighbors, and anyone who’s gone above and beyond to help others during these challenging times.

How awesome is this?!  They are even including those parents gone homeschool teachers.  If you know someone and would like to nominate them the process is super simple.  It asks a few questions and then it asks how and why the person you are nominating has inspired you.  You will also need at least one picture of the person you are nominating.  You must be 18 years old or older to nominate.

I remember visiting Cedar Point with my momma when I was 12 years old.  Momma was terrified of roller coasters and she got on the Demon Drop which is now called the Power Tower.  It raises 240-ft and drops the riders back down to the bottom.  I didn't even ride but she did.  Then we went on the Magnum and a storm hit as we were headed to the top and they had to evacuate us.  I will never forget by the time we got to the car the water from the storm was to our knees.

The park is has so many rides placing second in the country to Six Flags in Magic Mountain in California.
