Child Abduction Attempt Investigated in Ohio County

The Ohio County Sheriff's Office says deputies are investigating a possible attempted abduction of a child near Fordsville, Kentucky. Here's what we know so far.

Ohio County Central Dispatch sent out a press release asking for the public's help.

On 9/23/2019, an Ohio County Sheriff’s deputy responded to a call regarding a suspicious vehicle occupied by two males offering candy to a young child in the Fordsville area.

The vehicle was described as an 88 to 98 model Chev pick-up and was two-tone in color, light blue on top and very bottom and a darker blue in the middle.
