CrossRoads Emergency Homeless Shelter In Need of Food and Other Help
Cross Roads Emergency Homeless Shelter serves the need of not only women and children but the elderly and other families in our community. They are in dire need of many items at this time.The shelter serves over 2,800 people, over 800 families, and 82 new families in the month of May, and 213 of those people being diabetic are being served. The shelves are currently almost bare and a food truck is not due for a few weeks.
CrossRoads is also home to 20 women and children in our community on a nightly basis as an emergency shelter in addition to serving other families in Owensboro/Daviess County.
They are currently in need of the following food items:
Canned Vegetables
Canned Fruits
Canned Pastas
Canned Meats
Pasta/Spaghetti Noodles
Macaroni and cheese
Soups/Ramen Noodles
Spaghetti Sauce
Peanut Butter
Juices
If you would like to donate please take items to 1631 Breckenridge Street Monday/Friday 12-2, Tuesday/Wednesday 10-4, and Thursday 4-6 p.m.
