Emily and Mark Shelton Set St. Jude Goal of 175 Partners-in-Hope

Emily and Mark Shelton will join the WBKR St. Jude Radiothon at 3pm on Friday afternoon.  And, when they do, they will be aiming for yet another astounding, mind-blowing and ambitious fundraising goal.

Last year, in 2019, Emily and Mark announced they were going to try and get 160 Partners-in-Hope in just one hour.  The phone lines and WBKR St. Jude text line absolutely blew up.  Our local phone bank volunteers were so busy, calls were rolling over to the operators at St. Jude's national call center.

When it was all said and done, Emily and Mark surpassed their goal.

Yep!  You're reading that correctly.  The duo got 171 Partners-in-Hope in just ONE HOUR and raised over $40,000!
