Free Meal for Veterans on D-Day Anniversary at Popular Western Kentucky Restaurant
On Thursday, June 6th, 2024 Windy Hollow Biscuit House will host a special buffet that will pay tribute to area veterans to commemorate D-Day and the "Invasion of Normandy by Allied Forces" on June 6, 1944. It will also honor Windy Hollow founders, Hal & Tom Miller, who dropped out of high school to join the Army to serve during WWII.
It's important to honor our area veterans. Whether you attend a parade, spend time with a veteran, or learn about their service and sacrifice, we can all connect to a veteran in many ways. This is how a veteran can connect to the community while eating like royalty!

"June 6th - D-Day. Military veterans receive a free buffet as a thank-you for their service.
Windy Hollow founders, Hal & Tom Miller, dropped out of high school to join the Army to serve during WWII. They landed at Utah Beach on D-Day 1944. We do this to honor them, for all military folks who have served.
WWII veteran, Bob Hagan should join us for breakfast on June 6. Stop in to say hello to Bob and other military veterans."
Evelyn "Rooster" Miller, owner and operator of Windy Hollow, is always finding ways to give back!
