Fundraiser for Fallen Officer Phillip Meacham in Central City [VIDEO]

Hopkinsville Police officer Phillip Meacham was off duty when he was killed on March 29th. Central City is coming together Thursday for a fundraiser for the fallen officer. 

The Central City Pizza Hut is donating 20 percent of all sales Thursday, plus entry fees for the Stampede for the Thin Blue Line, t-shirt sales, and raffle ticket money will be donated to Officer Meacham's family.

The Green River Mustangs' 1st Annual Stampede for the Thin Blue Line will be held Saturday, June 9th.

Not long after the tragic story, singer/songwriter Courtney Peveler stopped by the WBKR to perform a song dedicated to Meacham that was written by Muhlenberg Co. Sheriff Curtis McGeehee called "Officer Down":
